Koop is an electronic jazz duo from Sweden. The band, which consists of Magnus Zingmark and Oscar Simonsson, has made three albums and has also been involved with numerous remix projects. Their most recent album Koop Islands (2006) mixed '40s jazz with contemporary electronic production for a truly modernist take on swinging sounds of the past.

José James will showcase his jazz vocals, which evoke greats Jon Lucien and even Gil Scott Heron. Set for release in early 2008, his solo debut will feature his tribute to Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. "The Dreamer." Rounding off the evening is NY's own Mocean Worker who will be providing a special jazz DJ set, highlighting many of the influences on his recent CD Cinco De MoWo!.
